Summer 2021 was deadly for British Columbians, with over 600 people losing their lives in just one week of extreme heat. The rapidly heating climate is expected to bring more dangerous summers to come, so the 2024 release of the BC Building Code has introduced new requirements to prevent overheating in residential spaces.
This session will cover the Guideline for Single Zone Cooling in Dwelling Units, which offers the technical direction needed to achieve compliance using CSA F280-12 standard – helping you avoid issues caused by improper cooling load calculations.
