Talk to Builder/developer and CHBA BC Vice President Mark Bernhardt about proven, cost-effective strategies to improve energy efficiency in new construction using the performance pathway.

1. Step Code and Zero Carbon Step Code policy changes dated 1st May 2023.

2. Selecting the correct system for clients and understand best practices surrounding contentious issues such as back-up heat sources, stoves and decorative fireplaces.

3. Costs of building to Zero Carbon Step Code requirements, including efficiency gains and cost savings of building a high-performance home.
